Last week we kicked off the start of our lobby mural at The Foundry in style! Commissioned local artist @LilyTherens illustrated an incredible custom map showcasing all that The Bridge District has to offer. With the help of highly sought after sign painter/muralist/artist, Jeremy Stanger, they are bringing this art piece to life.
Special guests representing Art of the Day, Creativity +, Urban Hive and Design Week Sac attended the kick-off. The Bridge District neighborhood was built through the lens of community and this gathering was a true representation of that. We had residents from all of our TBD properties join us for the evening!
Locals were hanging out at the front of the building playing bocce ball and in the lobby taking photos of the mural. All attendees were also encouraged to enjoy The Foundry’s exclusive community spaces and tour the model unit.
The Foundry’s fire pit proved to be a popular feature! Here, residents and creatives sat around chatting over charcuterie boards and wine for hours on end. Even after the artists had packed up for the evening the party continued on and our guests migrated over to Drake’s: the Barn to grab a brew!
The kick-off party was a blast and celebrated all of what the Bridge District is about: creativity, culture, and community.
